the machine girl - mega cheesy -mega awesome!
So I just checked this movie out and I must say it's a masterpiece of corny, cheesy, gory, violence, action, and comedy all wrapped up in one. Shot in a style that shares the same vein as films like Shoot em up, Planet Terror, The Troma Ville films, and other B-rated movies such as The Ice cream Man (no connection to the Master P film), and Killer Clowns From Outerspace... the the film takes you on a ride as lead character Ami Hyuga does battle with schoolmates, their parents, and a local Yakuza family all in the name of vengence for the murder of her bullied brother.
Definitely geared to those that don't wanna overthink a movie and just have fun. Check out the trailer below (don't worry the dvd also has an english option for those that don't wanna read subtitles):

great songs come from great inspiration
so i haven't been able to stop listening to fire in freetown by k'naan... and i just found out that the melody came from an ol somali song by Fatima Mandeeq. It was recorded in the early 80's... below k'naan song, then the mandeeq song check em out and enjoy:
