Worst song of the year- Naked Hustle by Bizzle

worst song i"ve heard this year- naked hustle I'll leave you with the lyrics, they speak for themself:

she said
ima stripper and this my life

aye aye aye
make it rain
aye aye aye
make it rain

i cant help but ta look look up ass falling from sky
queen of the pole full control with sexy asz thighs
ima let tha one's fly
ima let the song ride
ima throw every last dolla
i mean every last dime
i be poppin(i be poppin)
i be rollin(i be rollin)
i be smokin(i be smokin)
never chokin(never chokin)
always holdin(always holdin)
full controlin(full controlin)
i support the naked hustle

she said
ima stripper and this my life
i got kids im a wife
with bills to pay
so i twist and shake
until my body ache
i twist and shake
all day
so pray that you make it rain
aye aye aye
make it rain
aye aye aye
make it rain
aye aye aye
make it rain

Does the key to the cure lie within genetics? pretty interesting bbc article

Bone marrow 'cures HIV patient'

Doctors in Germany say a patient appears to have been cured of HIV by a bone marrow transplant from a donor who had a genetic resistance to the virus.

The researchers in Berlin said the man, who suffered from leukaemia and HIV, had shown no sign of either disease since the transplant two years ago.

But they stressed it was an unusual case which needed further investigation.

Experts said the result may boost interest in gene therapy for HIV.

Berlin's Charite clinic said the 42-year-old patient was an American living in Berlin, but the man has not been identified.

Genetic mutation

He had been infected with the human immunodeficiency virus, that causes Aids, for more than a decade and also had leukaemia.

The clinic said since the transplant was carried out 20 months ago, tests on the patient's bone marrow, blood and other organ tissues have all been clear.

In a statement, Professor Rodolf Tauber from the Charite clinic said: "This is an interesting case for research.

"But to promise to millions of people infected with HIV that there is hope of a cure would not be right."

Roughly one in 1,000 Europeans and Americans have an inherited genetic mutation, which prevents HIV from attaching itself to cells.

Two million people die of Aids every year and HIV is estimated to have infected 33 million people worldwide.

Option 'for a few'

Professor Andrew Sewell, from the Department of Medical Biochemistry and Immunology at the University of Cardiff said in theory a bone marrow transplant such as this one "should work" and it was surprising that no one had tried it before.

"The problem is most people with HIV live in sub-Saharan Africa and this is hugely expensive, you have to find a matched donor, and it's a pretty severe and painful operation.

"So it's going to be an option for very few people."

He added that gene therapy to knock out the mutation of the key CCR5 receptor was a possibility for future treatment.

Professor Philip Goulder, an immunologist at the University of Oxford said: "It's a really interesting case which looks at a treatment which really hasn't been thought about before.

"But without having that much information about the specific case you would want to be very cautious about getting too excited and you wouldn't be able to replicate that treatment for a lot of people with HIV."

Paul Ward, deputy chief executive at the Terrence Higgins Trust said: "This case gives us something to explore in future studies but it's certainly not a quick fix as gene therapy is complex and expensive.

"With no cure in sight, prevention should be our number one priority."

Dear Jane,
Are you sure this drawing of a spider is the one I sent you? This spider only has seven legs and I do not feel I would have made such an elementary mistake when I drew it.

Hello, I am back and have read through your emails and accept that despite missing a leg, that drawing of a spider may indeed be the one I sent you. I realise with hindsight that it is possible you rejected the drawing of a spider due to this obvious limb ommission but did not point it out in an effort to avoid hurting my feelings. As such, I am sending you a revised drawing with the correct number of legs as full payment for any amount outstanding. I trust this will bring the matter to a conclusion.

Regards, David.

I understand and will definately make a payment this week if I remember. As you have not accepted my second drawing as payment, please return the drawing to me as soon as possible. It was silly of me to assume I could provide you with something of completely no value whatsoever, waste your time and then attach such a large amount to it.

Regards, David.

George Hustus - a dope miami artist

artist statement: This body of work is influenced by the concept of preserving communication through modern forms of urban hieroglyphics (street art). The idea of extending human memory is communicated by imprinting stylistic characters and marks onto the surface of the canvasses in an energetic and impulsive manner.

Ponder the following

What if the Obamas had paraded five children across the stag e, including a three month old infant and an unwed, pregnant teenage daughter?

What if John McCain was a former president of the Harvard Law Review? What if Barack Obama finished fifth from the bottom of his graduating class?

What if McCain had only married once, and Obama was a divorcee?

What if Obama was the candidate who left his first wife after a severe disfiguring car accident, when she no longer measured up to his standards?

What if Obama had me t his second wife in a bar and had a long affair while he was still married?

What if Michelle Obama was the wife who not only became addicted to painkillers but also acquired them illegally through her charitable organization?

What if Cindy McCain graduated from Harvard?

What if Obama had been a member of the Keating Five?(The Keating Five were five United States Senators accused of corruptionin 1989, igniting a major political scandal as part of the 20 larger Savings and Loan crisis of the late 1980s and early 1990s.)

What if McCain was a charismatic, eloquent speaker?

What if Obama couldn't read from a teleprompter?

What if Obama was the one who had military experience that included discipline problems and a record of crashing four planes?

What if Obama was the one who was known to display publicly, on many occasions, a serious anger management problem?

What if Michelle Obama's family had made th eir money from beer distribution?

What if the Obamas had adopted a white child?

Funkshion Miami Fashion Week

Funkshion - Fashion Week Miami Beach celebrated its 11th season with the most impressive line-ups in their history. The state of the art fashion tents where built INSIDE the Botanical Garden in Miami Beach. The venue featured three unique venues with a large court yard for sponsor activations in the center of it all. FUNKSHION: Fashion Week Miami Beach opened on October 1st at both the Botanical Gardens HARPERS BAZAAR show (8pm) and with BEJEWELED BY SUSAN FIXEL at Setai Hotel.

The shows I had a chance to attend were the Argyle Culture runway show by Russell Simmons, The Keva show by Keva J, and the Cookie runway show by Cookie magazine. All three shows were good with a notable appearance by Keva J who made an exceptionally strong showing, especially for a new comer. She is an up and comer originally from South Florida who is making a name for herself designing woman's wear.

Argyle collection features a classic yet timeless American styled line updated with a bright and contemporary color palette. As expected there were many famous faces in attendance such as: Gabrielle Union, Kevin Lyles, Mr. Simmons (himself), Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, & Ryan Seacrest of American Idol fame, even rapper turn DJ; D Nice.

Here r a few pics from the Argyle show & afterparty:
